Pearl® working in full compliance of EU directives and legislation
Understanding EU Detergent Regulations
Pearl® market leading innovative waterless products are manufactured and accredited to British Standards BS EN ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 which in line with full environmental awareness encompasses the development, manufacture, processing and distribution of chemicals and specialty chemicals for the Automotive and Transport Cleaning Industries.
Pearl® professional waterless wash and detailing system provides an extremely safe, efficient and cost effective system enabling the user to clean, polish and protect a vehicle, whilst protecting the environment from pollution and excessive consumption of precious water and energy.
The Detergent Regulations as defined in 648/2004/EC apply to chemical preparations which includes conventional methods used in professional and consumer washing and cleaning processes that create “waste-washing’s”, which are then passed into the waste water and foul drainage system.
EU Standard Detergent Regulations do NOT apply to waterless “Leave On” cleaning products and therefore do NOT apply to Pearl® Leave-On Waterless Programme which includes Advanced Ultra Nano, Professional, Universal and Eco Tyre Shine, as these outstanding environmentally friendly waterless car wash products are distinguished from conventional washing and scrubbing preparations in that they do not rely on the rinsing action in determining their effectiveness, as no effluents or pollution are discharged into the waste water or drains systems. Pearl® world class products deliver the ulimate exterior and interior showroom finish with the user simply spraying onto to target surface, wiping and then buffing to a beautiful shine using a Pro Microfibre Cloth.
