Preparation

Before applying Oyster Paint Sealant, thoroughly clean the surface using Pearl Universal Cleaner (PL003) or another non‑wax, non‑silicone cleaning solution.

If the paintwork shows scratches, swirl marks, oxidisation, bird‑lime etching, or dullness, correct these defects first using either:

• Pearl Scratch Remover (PL088) – for light to moderate defects
• Cerami X Compound (PL080) – for lighter‑duty lacquer rectification
• Cerami HD (PL081) – for heavier‑duty lacquer rectification

Correct preparation ensures optimum bonding and long‑life performance of Oyster Paint Sealant.

1. Prepare the Surface

Ensure the paint surface is cool, clean, and completely dry.

2. Apply

Using a clean, dry high-quality Pro Microfibre Cloth, apply Oyster Paint Sealant one panel at a time.

3. Allow to Haze

Allow the product to lightly haze. Do not allow it to dry out completely.

4. Buff to Shine

Buff to a deep gloss using a clean, dry Pro Microfibre Cloth.

5. Protect from Water

Avoid water contact for 4 hours after treatment. In hot, dry climates, this may be reduced to 1 hour.

6. Cure Time

Allow Oyster Paint Sealant to fully cure and bond. Do not wash treated surfaces for 1 week after application.
