Directions for Use

1. Surface Preparation

Before application, ensure all paintwork is fully pre‑treated:

• Remove scratches, swirl marks, holograms, and existing coatings using:
  • Pearl Scratch Remover (PL088) or Pearl Cerami X (PL080) for light‑duty/soft paintwork
  • Pearl Tornado (PL057) or Pearl Cerami HD (PL081) for heavy‑duty/hard lacquer rectification

Ensure the surface is cool, clean, and completely dry.

For optimum bonding, remove all dirt, grease, compound residue, silicone contaminants, and wax using Pearl Universal Multi‑Surface Cleaner (PL008) and panel wipe.

2. Application

1. Wrap a Pearl Quartz Applicator Block (PLA31AB) with a Pearl Quartz Suede Cloth (PLA32SC).
2. Discharge one full pipette of Nano Ceramic Coating Quartz 9H along the face of the cloth.
3. Apply evenly in a cross‑hatch pattern (horizontal then vertical) over an area no larger than 60 × 60 cm (2 ft × 2 ft).
4. Allow the coating to flash off for up to 5 minutes (climate dependent).
5. Wipe the treated area using a high-quality Pro Microfibre Cloth, working from the outside of the application zone inward to remove initial residue.
6. Turn the cloth and continue buffing until all residue is removed and a high‑gloss finish is achieved.
7. Repeat the process panel by panel until the entire vehicle is coated.

For increased durability, a second layer of Nano Ceramic Coating Quartz 9H may be applied 4 hours after the initial application.

3. Application Advice

• Apply indoors at 15–25°C, out of direct sunlight.
• Keep the vehicle indoors for a minimum of 12 hours after application to ensure full curing.
• Curing can be accelerated using infrared: 5 minutes per panel at 65°C.

4. Coating Maintenance & Care

• To maintain the mirror‑gloss finish and optimum hydrophobic performance, clean surfaces using:
  • Pearl Professional (PL052) all‑in‑one cleaner and preserver for routine cleaning.
  • Pearl Advanced Ultra Nano (PL051) all-in-one cleaner and superhydrophobic booster.

These products ensure road salts and acidic contaminants do not adhere or attack the treated surfaces.
